a princess who can save herself

Caroline was taken to force Klaus to take the cure. He was ready to die for her. But when he went to help her and say good bye- he was amazed she did not need as much help as he thought. He learned she needs a partner not a savior. The story ended too soon, but the pairing of Caroline and Klaus has passion, potential and promise. Caroline calls herself a princess, Damon calls her Vampire Barbie, but Klaus wants to call Caroline "his". She sees some good in him, and he makes her knees go weak, if they would both trust enough to move forward theirs could be an epic love story. I relate to Klaus and Caroline more than to Elena bouncing back and forth between Damon and Stefan. Because when you want someone, really want someone you know it. You can try to fight the feelings like Caroline does, but you falter giving a little more each time, like Caroline does. And when you finally give in to love and passion it is truly wonderous. I want to read that story involving these two characters. That story would deserve more than a short story- it would be an epic novel, that would thrill fans - it would also be a great cross-over event for the 2 CW shows- say during February sweeps

Not sure what the point of this short story was. It wasn't even a story as there never unfolded anything. No conflict, no resolution, no suspense, no fun. Felt like a rough draft, but at least the writing was decent.
