A very good book

This was a very good book that will leave one looking forward to the time you will have to spend in reading it. If I would have had the time I would have read it straight through. I highly recomend it.

realistic and meaningful

Parts of this story were so engrossing I could hardly put the book down. Many kudos to the author for presenting the challenges of working in an animal rescue environment! It was a very emotional read for me because of my love and respect for animals. This is definitely one of the better books in this series.

Saints Among Us

This story is again about the Howard sisters and the bed and breakfast they run. This story is mainly about their preparations for the Christmas season. Part of the story is about the two weeks Alice spent volunteering with an animal shelter in Florida after a late hurricane and how attached she becomes to some of the dogs. She is worried about the animals when she has to leave and ends up bringing one dog who has a tumor home to Acorn Hill. It is a very touching story. If you like the books about Grace Chapel Inn, you will love this story.
