Frustrating due to errors

This book is a waste of time and money. It is nothing but a collection of case studies that are not realistic or helpful. Some chapters offer a dumbed-down version of Q and A that reads like a weak inner monologue, and the errors make it almost impossible to read. I had to use it for a graduate course, and the only way I could stand reading it was to correct errors as I went. Granted, I'm an English teacher, but this is a text for educators at the Master's level. Subject/verb agreement isn't too much to expect. Thank goodness I only rented it.

A MUST!

I LOVE this book. It's the fifth edition and the best yet! It is thorough and thought provoking - my students love it and I continue to learn from it. Chapters range from intellectual freedom to equality to teacher professionalism. If you don't have this book I highly recommend it!

Easier than carrying around a book

I prefer a textbook that is paginated like the actual text, but this worked out okay. I found out how to reference the Kindle edition for my papers so I can live without the page numbers.
