Outstanding artwork

The mixed-media artwork is outstanding and will capture the young reader's attention. What will each new page reveal? What nature scene is brought to life and how? Identifying the different media is just as fun as reading the story, which (in its simplicity and warmth) reminds me of a Golden Book from long ago.
